The Leland Community Garden is open to the public. A membership to the garden is $5.00 for each growing season which includes access to the general garden beds and garden materials. Individuals and organizations are welcome to apply for a 6'x12' wood-framed raised bed for a fee of $15 per growing season. There are twenty beds available on a first come, first serve basis. Garden membership is included in the raised bed application. For more information, contact the Project Manager at 662.390.6529.

The Leland Community Garden is located at the old National Guard Armory, near La-Z-Boy on Broad Street in Leland, Mississippi.

The Leland Community Garden is a partnership between the City of Leland, the Leland Community Garden Committee, and the Delta Health Alliance's 21st Century Project partnership with the Good Samaritan Health Center in Greenville to provide primary care for the uninsured.

The 21st Century Community Garden Project seeks to support the development of sustainable community gardens to encourage increased access to and consumption of fresh fruits and vegetables, and increased physical activity for clinic patients and other community residents.

We gratefully acknowledge financial support for this work from the Office of Rural Health Policy (HRSA) and the Office of Preventive Health of the Mississippi Department of Health.
